Happy July
Like usual it has been awhile since I have been able to post so this might be a long one.
First Story:
Let's go way back to June 10th, on this day 3 years ago there were tornado warnings in the Saginaw area. This year thankfully it was beautiful because I was able to have the girls birthday party at my mom's pool. This is a good thing because then I did not have to clean my house just to have it destroyed again by a bunch of kids. We celebrated both girls birthday because on the following weekend on Kay's birthday we were going to the NASCAR race at Michigan speedway.
New Story:
We decided to take the girls with us this year to just go camping. My grandparents went along and watched the kids while we went ot the race. Well, the nice owners of the track allow kids to come in for free to all of the races, except the cup race on Sunday. So we took Kay with us, in case you didn't know we have had a pretty hot summer in Michigan so far, she was sleeping by lap 5 and woke up on lap 40 and threw up everywhere from heat exhaustion. I took her down and stuck her head in the sink and got her cooled off and she was fine, but we sat the last 40 laps in the shade.
Next Story:
We went up north over the first 4 of July weekend. We had a blast and was not to annoyed with my entire family. (Sorry I can;t post my real feelings on here as family may read it) The following pics were from putt-putt golfing and the boat trip and swimming on nasty St Helen lake(the kids love it anyway).
Close to the end:
I took the girls to get their birthday pictures done and it was so hard to decide, they were being so damn cute. Pictures to follow.

The end:
We went and spent the weekend with the in-laws at a campground. It was hot and I was sleeping in a metal box in a bed that was too small. The second night we switched and slept with a kid instead of with my hubby and it was better. Saturday we let the kids go swimming in the camp ground pool and I got so hot watching that I got sweat blisters in between my chest. I was in the process of peeling from getting burnt the weekend before. Sat. night the campground put on a nice display of fireworks. Sunday the kids wanted to play putt-putt golf and again Kailey could not take the heat and ended up puking again. Needless to say I would rather have been home in the comfort of my own house and bed.
OK, I think that is enough vomit for one day. So till next time stay out of the sun and stay cool.

Glad you are back! I've missed your posts! The girls are beautiful! Can't believe Kay is six...where did the time go? I was rocking her, giving her a bottle when 9/11 happened...will never forget that!! Sounds like you should skip the camping and any other outdoor activity until it cools off...LOL. Poor kid.
Love the pics of the girls. I can see they are gonna be little shoe queens. They both have on the most adorable lil' shoes!
