Better days ahead
There's no looking back now.
Hubby came home with a smile on his face yesterday. I had a pissed off look on mine because he came home with no pizza's for dinner. I go off on him about why he has 2 cell phones if he can't answer either of them. Still with a smile on his face, he said he just listened to the message as he was a mile from home. But he got to fight fire so he didn't care that I was mad at him for not bringing home pizza. He told me to call the local party store and he would go pick it up. So I called and ordered the pizza and I ended up going to get it also. I was not going to complain because he had to fix our water.
We pulled the pump up out of the well and sure enough there was a spot on the wire that was all corroded. Hello over paid engineer that designed the pump, next time use a longer cord so we don't have to splice it and cause it to short out. Luckily, my hubby is a master Elec. so he put on a new wire and we had water by 9pm. So today I'll be busy doing dishes and laundry.
Praying for a better weekend then this rotten week I've had.

so fighting a fire makes your man smile..haha
nothing like NOT bringing home the crap for dinner..Sometimes mine will come home and totally forget all about feeding the rest of us..
damn men anyway.
your weekend and following week WILL be better, afterall, it cant get any worse then the shit u went thru last week.
Glad you have water once again. Now go take a nice, hot bubble bath and try to ignore the little fingers under the door!
BTW, My husband has never brought dinner home, nor has he ever cooked in the four years we have been together! My first morning home from the hospital afte having a major surgery, I had to get up and make Syd breakfast because he wouldn't even attempt to fry an egg (and this child will not do cereal...weird, huh?)! MEN!
Bossy~ You should know dealing with anything hot makes a man smile.
I can't bash him entirely because he really didn't know he was going to be bringing dinner home. and when I called his cells they were on a shelf at the fire hall.
Kelly~ Did Syd get that from her dad? Thank goodness my kids love eggo waffles, so I don't have to cook in the morning. I can't complain he usually is good about it, it just happened that he didn't listen to his voice mails until he was all the way home. He will cook though.
