Happy Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day!

Why do men buy lame cards? I guess it is the thought that counts, but Please! This is the card I received this morning from my Hubby as he is on his way out the door heading to Ohio for the night. This is the front of the card.
This was the inside of the card. Nice fricken Paradise, you take off and go to Ohio and leave me with 4 Fricken Kids. Happy Damn Valentine's day to you too. I'm OK really, just had to get that off my chest.

My nice peaceful day I had planned was thrown out the window this morning... when I woke up and discovered they canceled school today because of blowing snow. We did not really get that much snow, but it is blowing and drifting like crazy. Hubs went out to start his truck this morning and he had to get in the passenger side because of the 4 ft. snow drift at his door.

The other problem I have is this damn old house we live in. Last night around 8:00 p.m. my mom was heading home and she noticed a snow drift in my house. The wind was blowing so hard at my front door that it made a drift of snow inside my house. I was going to take a picture, but Hubs came home and tried to fix it. This morning there is a small drift. Here is the small drift inside my front door.

We are planning a benefit dinner for my nephew and my job is calling and collecting for the silent auction. I made a list last night of places to call today, so I'll have to work on that when the kids go down for a nap.

So, I'll be busy playing with the munchkins all day and trying to find out if there is cheerleading practice tonight.

Peace out y'all!

Have a happy valentine's day. Your door looks likes ours. Only we don't get snow. But you can damn sure feel the breeze comin' right through it! And Kevin wonders why our power bill is so expensive. Men! Good luck on the benefit dinner. That's why I love small towns. They all take care of each other in need!

happy v-day..

well we dont have any snow, but its neagtive 5 out right now, that is just as bad right?..hehe

my hubby dont buy those kinda cards, he is all about the sappy ones...he is such a chick..haha

9:40 AM

Let me know when the dinner will be and we will try to come down. Tell Kay that I ordered from her fundraiser, just haven't gotten the card out to her yet.

At least you got a Vday card! Doesn't it suck when hubby's have to travel out of town? I hate that part of Tim's job!

We had school today, but the roads were horrible this morning!

6:10 PM

Nerotic1- Our bills are crazy also, our elec. avg. $165 and during the winter months our gas bill is around $600 a month. The donations are rolling in because he gets to people because he is a baby.

Bossy- My hubby wouldn't know romance if it hit him square between the eyes. Maybe I'm just critical and nothing is ever right.

Kelly- The dinner is going to be Friday March 2nd at Countryside church from 4-8.

Thank you for purchaseing magazines, I did not send it with the intention of you buying any. Kay was happy with the sour patch candies she got for turning them in with 11 names.

I usually like it when he goes out of town, but it just seems like there is so many things going on around here that I could use his help. But, I cna't complain at least I know he's getting a pay check.

10:19 PM

The dinner will have to be a no go for me then. I wanted to come, but know that is Mike's friday with Syd so will have to be heading the opposite direction after work. If for some reason he cancels, I'll be there!

I was glad to purchase the magazines. All we get around here right now is preschool ones, Disney Adventure or sports mags! It's about time I order something!
