The entire month of April
It has been awhile since I have had time to sit and actually type anything. So I thought I would do one post that includes whats been keeping me busy the last couple of weeks.
First, I have not been on the computer all that much because our service is really slow all of a sudden. It's sad when dial up is faster than our wireless. The second reason I have not been blogging is because I have been busy keeping my Sim family alive. I've gotten so addicted to it, I love living my life (only way better)through a computer game.
Easter was a great time. The whole family came to my house for dinner and for the Easter egg hunt. To bad there was still snow on the ground and freezeing outside, so we had our egg hunt inside this year. The easter bunny brought Court a Princess Pontiac Solstice. She was very excited, but her older sister still thinks it's both of theirs. By the way this will be the one and only car I buy for my girls. Cute Story: We were heading to my brother's house and both girls were in the car when my dad pulls up and asks, "where her driver's liscence is"? She quickly responds, "Grandpa I don't need a liscence yet because it's not a real car". We take off down the road and Kay asks me, "Mom will I go to jail if I don't have a driver's license and a cop sees me on the road". She already wants a fake ID just in case.
The weather has been beautiful, so we have been working in the yard a lot. My hubby decides we need to roll the lawn since it has never been done in the 2 years we have lived here. Of course we don't have one so he calls my uncle (who happens to own an asphalt company) to see if we could borrow a roller. Long story short my Hubs went and picked it up and it was a massive piece of equipment that they literally use when laying asphalt. Needless to say our lawn is very flat.
The same weekend Kay gets determinded to learn how to ride her bike without training wheels. She is doing a really good job, but is afraid to turn so she stops then turns around and starts again. She has many bruises to show how good she is doing. Ha Ha
We also added some new family members to our household. Kay has been bugging for the last year to get fish. We finally gave in and let her pick out some fish. Needless to say of the 5 fish we bought we only have 1 left. Thank goodness the ones that died only cost 23 cents. Also this week my MIL calls and I could tell she was crying and shw informed me that her dog that they have had for 12 years died. But she couldn't move the dog by herself so he was covered up with a tarp until her hubs got home.
The final thing that has been keeping my busy is searching for things to do while I'm in Jamicia. Were are heading there in November because my cousin is getting married and we are making it our 10th anniversary trip at 8 years. I'm so looking forward to going. Now I just have to get this weight off so I don't look like a beached whale while I'm sunbathing.
I remembered one more thing. My hubby that it would be a good idea to have a golf cart. So we went and bought one last weekend. It is kind of funn cruising around the block in.
Well thats all I really have to bore you with at this moment, so maybe I can come up with something more exciting in the next post.
Pictures to back all of this up is in a slide show in the next post.

Glad to know you are still around. I thought we would have to send out a search party! I know what you mean about Spring being so busy! Way to go Kay! Punkin' still can't ride hers yet, but gets frustrated too soon and gives up.
We will be in your area in three weeks. Maybe we can meet up for lunch. Tell everyone Hi for me!
