What's up!!

I know everyone wants to see pictures of the finished Kitchen, but it has to get finished first. I have been very busy with surprise parties and kids activities that it has been put on the back burner.

Until I get more time (maybe Thursday night) to post please pray for my family. My husband's uncle died Friday in a farming accident. He was only 53 yrs. old and will be greatly missed by family and friends. My hubby is trying to hold back is emotions and be strong but I can tell it really hurts. So if you think about it give us a little prayer to keep us strong during this time of sorrow.

This is for you Bossy!! I'm so scared. If my little girl grows up looking like any of these woman I'm in so much trouble. No wonder she plays with the boys at school, they are attracted to her beauty. Thank God she got her moms looks. Ha Ha I tried 2 different pictures and still got mainly beautiful people for both of them.



Now my little girl does not have a prayer!! What in the hell is this? Are they saying my little girl is a freak? Man I hope she grows out of it.

This is what we have so far. My hubby is in the basement; as I blog, sanding the rest of the cupboard doors so we can put a coat of primer on them yet tonight. I also have a curtain up above the window by the sink it just makes it feel homier. I have an aunt coming in from out of state Friday and she will want to see my house. In case you didn't know, I'm living in my grandma's house. She passed away 3 years ago and we are slowly making it ours. But I decided to change the kitchen by adding just a little paint and here 3 weeks later and only 2 nights left before my aunt arrives it has to be done.

The other big task we are working on is cleaning out closets. I took 2 1/2 garbage bags of clothes out of my closet and hubby took out 3 garbage bags full, plus he gave a bunch of things to my brother. I can now start to see my bedroom floor and it's not piled with clothes. I love that feeling. When can I go shopping again. Ha HA. My next task is to sort kids clothes and put away the summer clothes, for it is suppose to snow here tomorrow. Well I must go now but I will post completed pictures over the weekend if I have time. Sat~I have to go watch my nephew play soccer and then go to my uncle's birthday party. It's a surprise~he's going to be ninety. Oh mark my word my hubby will completely forget my birthday next week!! Back to the painting. I love how oil based paint makes me feel I forget all of my problems, HAha.
