Busy, Busy, busy
Ok... I might be back for a little while. I never really left I just didn't have time to do my own post. Life has been a little crazy.
This last weekend my in-laws came for a visit. It was pretty plesant, until it came to Saturday and we had no water all day. Long story short for the last 2 months our damn well pump would quit and we wouldn't have water until we reprimed the pump. Which somedays it would take at least an hour. So my hubby works for a company where he could get the pump wholesale. He comes home from work and informs me that the new pump is going to cost $525.00. I about choked, needless to say, but tells him to order it. I would rather be broke than not to have water. A girl has got to have her shower. Then... He goes to work the next day and was telling the boys our problem and they tell him about a different kind of pump, of course this one costs $ 1000 and is computerized. Now we have two pumps and no water. So Saturday they installed the new $1000 pump and at last we have water. At least so far we have not had a problem.
The next thing that is keeping me busy is my house. I'm having a Mary Kay party this week and I'm trying to get the house clean. I have come to the conclusion that if I would do it more often it wouldn't take so long. For example, I decide to borrow my mother's steam cleaner to clean my office floor. I think it would have been easier to just buy new carpet. The room is approx. 10 x 10 and it took me 6 1/2 hours to get the small area done. This carpet is 1. old and 2. very dirty. This is the first place you walk into when you visit my home, but 2 years ago when we were doing construction no one took off their shoes and tracked in all kinds of shit. I was hoping to have this room tiled by now, but we keep having to fix other things instead. So, for those of you who want to know you can put a cup of bleach in the bissell steam cleaner and it will not discolor you carpet. At least I did not notice anything. Disclaimer:If you try it and it ruins your floor I'm not responsible.
I have to get to bed, this crap of staying up until 1 in the morning is crazy.
