Time for a post!

Well it has been well over a month since my last post and many things have happened in my household. Where do I begin.

We got school pictures back and me being the partial mom that I am think they turned out adorable. UPDATE: Damn printer is not working right so I can't scan their school pics right now.

My big 1st grader...Notice the missing teeth.

My big 3 year old preschooler.

I have quit driving my truck because diesel prices have gone through the roof. My mom and I just drive her car everywhere. At least this way I'm not spending so much money. UPDATE: I filled it on Friday and it cost $98.

And since I'm on the topic of prices of gas I might as well get a few more things off my chest. We live out in no mans land therefore we heat our house with propane. Last year we spent around $5000 to heat our house to 68 degrees. The gas company just came to fill our pig and it was only around $400....I think WOW that's not to bad it has not been filled since last spring. To bad they only needed to put 30% in and at $2.09 a gallon it adds up quickly. I have my furnace set at 62 degrees and I refuse to turn it any higher...until it gets colder that is. When I went to bed last night my bedroom was a mild 55 degrees....not to bad since we don't have heat in our bedroom. The rest of the house is comfortable as long as you have a sweatshirt and slippers on. I think we are going to rotate the unpacked boxes from the basement to our living room so we can live in the basement where there is a fire place to keep us cozy warm. UPDATE: The price of propane has jumped to $2.38 a gal....That will average $1190. to heat our house for a month. Good God I'm going to have to find a real job or move somewhere warmer.

let's see.... what other useless information can I think of?

Oh We had a family game night of Domino's and Uno. It was really nice spending quality time with the kids until they started crying because they couldn't win. So we each let them win a hand and it was time for bed.

Halloween.... how could I forget Halloween.

I love that I pay $100's of dollars for dance costumes...because they come in handy to reuse them for Halloween. Kay was a ginormous Nemo and Court wanted to be a Princess. Hope you enjoy the spooky pics.

This is their carved pumpkins. Court would only pick out small pumpkins, so that's what we carved.

Kay and Court dressed up for Halloween.

Court singing Halloween songs at preschool.

Well I had many more exciting things going on but I don't want to bore you so I'll stop now.

Oops, one more say a little prayer for my uncle who is in the hospital trying to get a blood clot dissolved that is very close to his heart. and for my grandma and grandpa that leave Sat. to head to Florida for the winter. I hope they have a safe trip. UPDATE: I typed this draft a week ago.... my uncle had to have the blood clot surgically removed and gram and gramps made it safely to Florida and will fly home for Christmas on my 8th wedding anniversary.

OK for real I think that is the last thing I have.

If I don't post again before Thursday, I'll see you when we get home from Jamaica in December.
